As with our last event, Cho’gall, the prize fund for Fizzcrank US has been pooled together thanks to the generosity of multiple guilds and individuals. The sponsorship drive was led by Skylä, who contacted us to arrange the event, advertised it, and started the donations with an array of prizes both from her guild, The Haunted, and out of her own pocket.

Our guest judge this week is long-term blogger, Kamalia of Kamalia et alia, who has been writing about outfits in WoW, among other things, since long before transmogrification was announced. We’re very much looking forward to having her join us!

The prize total is not yet confirmed, so the prize categories above are subject to change, but at present the sponsors and their respective prize contributions are as follows:

  • The Haunted guild – 100,000g + Mekgineer’s Chopper
  • Skylä – A Blizzard Store Pet
  • Kuching – 30,000g
  • Exodus guild – 20,000g
  • Censorship is Cancer guild – 20,000g

There are also a few would-be sponsors who have previously offered prize gold, but have not yet fully confirmed their donations. They will be added to the list as soon as confirmation has been received.

Thanks to all who are sponsoring!

If you’ve not yet seen a WoW Factor show and would like to know what to expect, you can read more about the project on our WoW Factor page.

We hope to see you there!

Update (11/08/12): The prize fund has been upped to 351,000 gold. Full details of the sponsors will be included in our follow-up article.
