Brutish Set

Brutish Set

Armor Type: Plate
Level Req.: 45/85 with alternatives
Source: BoE world drops

About the set:

Brutish items are BoE world drops from creatures in the late level 40’s and early 50’s. Due to their low drop rates, it’s advised that you check the Auction House frequently when compiling the set.

We’ve included a second picture below, which features the Brutish set with an alternative set of shoulders and a weapon. For level 85’s, the alt shoulders may actually be easier to obtain that the Brutish BoE pair.

Anyone know a good spot to farm this set??

    • Noelani says:

Wowhead implied that a few of the lower level pieces have been seen dropping in Dire Maul and Razorfen Downs (at sub-0.1% drop rates), but there’s no indication of there being any particular ‘good’ farming spots for it.

I should add that it appears that Wowhead has no record of Brutish items dropping in any zone in Eastern Kingdoms, only Kalimdor. Winterspring, Felwood and Tanaris being the most popular.

i´ve tried DM, and Tanaris, still need gloves, chest and belt.
And true, i didnt notice that on wowhead.

Those Pauldrons of Sacrifice look like the absolute PERFECT match for this set! I’m SO making this set for my troll DK!

Another option for shoulders would be Wyrmslayer Spaulders ( if you don’t like the spiky look or the rather trollish look mentioned here.
