Beast Lord Armor

Beast Lord Armor
Hunter Dungeon Set 3

Armor Type: Mail
Level Req.: 70
Source: BoP boss drops from normal and heroic Outland dungeons
Availability: Time consuming to farm, but soloable by high level characters

How to get the set:
The 5 pieces of the Beast Lord Armor are from normal and heroic level 70 Outland dungeons. The farming process is easily soloable by a level 85 character, but it is potentially very time consuming to gather the entire set, due to daily heroic lockouts.

Also available are three Outland heroic epic items which, although not technically part of the Beast Lord Armor, match the appearance of the set.

Note that despite having set bonuses indended for hunters, this set is not class-specific.

HeadBeast Lord Helm (BoP from Pathaleon the Calculator in Normal and Heroic Mechanar)
ShouldersBeast Lord Mantle (BoP from Warlord Kalithresh in Normal and Heroic Steamvault)
ChestBeast Lord Cuirass (BoP from Warp Splinter in Normal and Heroic Botanica)
GlovesBeast Lord Handguards (BoP from Warchief Kargath Bladefist in Normal and Heroic Shattered Halls)
LegsBeast Lord Leggings (BoP from Warlord Kalithresh in Normal and Heroic Steamvault)

WristsBracers of the Hunt (BoP from Talon King Ikiss in Heroic Sethekk Halls)
WaistGirdle of Ferocity (BoP from Murmur in Heroic Shadow Labyrinth)

You can also purchase matching items

    Stalkers Chain gearset.

    Boots of the Endless Hunt

DO NOT drop from normal Botanica.

  3. Utukku says:

Warchief Kargath Bladefist is from Shattered Halls, instead of Shadow Labyrint.

    Otherwise, great website 😀

very nice looking set. i use it on my hunter, combined with the awesome bow from shattered halls (ogre boss). i do, however, not use the boots mentioned in this guide, but rather the blue boots from sethekk halls (1st boss), as i think they look much more interesting and also, while not technically part of the same “set”, match the other pieces much better. this is just my opinion, of course, but still perhaps something to consider if you want to create an aesthetically appealing outfit based on beast lord set.
oh, and then i had the idea of using some lvl 70 pvp bracers to cover most of the gap between cuirass and gloves, just so the elbows don’t look so naked and unprotected.
hope this is useful to somebody 🙂

I have most of the set, minus the belt and im having problems finding a matching polararm to go with it. Any suggestions?

There’s a great shoulder piece for this set that really jazzes it up. The Pauldrons of Wild Magic drop from Quagmirran in Heroic Slave Pens.

It’s pretty easy to farm for lvl. 85 chars, you can run past all the junk and just take on the last boss.

  7. Twiggy says:

If you’re finding it hard to get the chest piece there’s a nice chest that drops in Scarlet Monastery from Ironspine called Ironspine’s Ribcage. It matches well enough so that it can stand in until you get the actual chest.

  8. Mercosian says:

There is also another set if you do not wish to grind this. The Reputation blues for most of the Burning Crusade factions sell these pieces. “Stalkers Chain Battlegear”
