The Farmer

The Farmer

Armor Type: Cloth
Level Req.: 38
Source: Crafting/BoE
Availability: Some items are easy to obtain, others require more effort

How to get the set:
Two of the items from the Farmer set are widely available from Tailors. The other three items however, are drops with varying degrees of difficulty to collect.

For classes which cannot use Polearm weapons, there are few suitably ‘Farmery’ alternatives linked at the bottom; brooms, lanterns and spades.

Head – Crochet Hat (A common random world drop)
Chest – Blue Overalls (Created by Tailors)
Shirt – Rustic Workman’s Shirt (Created by Tailors)
Feet – Bright Boots (A BoE world drop)
Weapon – Pitchfork (A drop from Hillsbrad Farmers who may only be killed by Horde characters)

The Pitchfork can be obtained by Alliance members via cross-faction AH transfer, but they could alternatively have a Death Knight farm a Rusted Pitchfork, in their starting zone. If you can use a staff, the Farmer’s Broom is a suitable accessory, as would be the Eerie Stable Lantern.

The mobs that drop Pitchfork have been removed from the game in the latest expansion (Cataclysm). So this model is near impossible to get these days.

  2. anony says:

Instead of the pitchfork, there is a shovel (Shovel of Mercy) that is a reward from a quest (Do the Right Thing) in Hillsbrad.

It you use a shovel () and a lantern ( it could be a gravedigger set, 😉

Guys, This pitchfork dropped for me. When I was a deathknight I was messing around by that farm you destroy at the beginning of the game, anyway, the exact pitchfork dropped about 1 month ago, I sold it for 1 gold ^_^

First of all, you can’t mogg into items that are grey… 2nd you can’t remove the shoulders so it still looks like shit.

This is a roleplay outfit, as in We aim to cater to audiences for both transmog and roleplay. You should probably have considered that before flaming away needlessly.
