Druid of the Fang

Druid of the Fang

Armor Type: Leather
Level Req.: 29
Source: Drops from The Wailing Caverns and one crafted
Availability: Almost all the pieces are low level boss drops, which makes this set is quite easy to get hold of

How to get the set:
This set requires a few runs through Wailing Caverns. The gloves are dropped by druids of the fang, which are elites inside the instance scattered around the place. Since their drop chance is low, as is some of the other BoP’s, it may take a while. If you are lucky, these gloves are on the AH, but will probably be a little pricey.
The hood is a crafted headpiece, and should be available through the AH or by asking a tailor to craft it for you. The recipe for it though can be somewhat tricky to get by, since it is a world drop, which means not all tailors necessarily have it.

Head – Shadow Hood (crafted by tailors)
Chest – Armor of the Fang (BoP from the boss Lord Pythas – 60% drop chance)
Gloves – Gloves of the Fang (BoE from the dungeon mobs “druid of the fang – 1,6% drop chance)
Waist – Belt of the Fang (BoP from the boss Lady Anacondra – 9% drop chance)
Legs – Leggings of the Fang (BoP from the boss Lord Cobrahn – 18% drop chance)
Feet – Footpads of the Fang (BoP from the boss Lord Serpentis – 21% drop chance)

    Any good shoulder options?

  2. Tyler says:

Now with the new darkmoon faire, you can totally match it up with http://www.wowhead.com/item=78340#comments darkmoon faire cloak for for 90 tickets and also a 2h mace, the darkmoon hammer http://www.wowhead.com/item=78341#sold-by for 160 tickets. It will take awhile, oh another thing. If you are rich these items are BoE so I’d check the auction house.

The Headhunter shoulders make an excellent match to the set, but being a world drop green they can be painful to find.

Isnt it weird that the best head that they could come up is a cloth one ? isnt there really anything leatherish for a druid…who wears cloth helm anyway 😀
